Air pollution is a significant risk factor for a number of pollution-related diseases, including respiratory infections, heart disease, COPD, stroke and lung cancer. The human health effects of poor air quality are far reaching, but principally affect the body’s respiratory system and the cardiovascular system. Individual reactions to air pollutants depend on the type of pollutant a person is exposed to, the degree of exposure, and the individual’s health status and genetics. Indoor air pollution and poor urban air quality are listed as two of the world’s worst toxic pollution problems in the 2008 Blacksmith Institute World’s Worst Polluted Places report. Outdoor air pollution alone causes 2. 1 to 4. 21 million deaths annually. Overall, air pollution causes the deaths of around 7 million people worldwide each year, and is the world’s largest single environmental health risk.
Make your children's school work fun too, with the 'school fun' option. Your kids can make awards for their schoolwork with titles such as 'ravenous reader award' 'marvelous math award' 'handy helper award' or 'shining star award.' You can personalize the award with your child's name, the date he or she earned the award, and decorate the award with a border. Check out the 'checkers' game, where you can print the game board and game pieces, and spend some quality time playing a game that was popular since you were a kid. First, Fairies are a very safe addiction! No kidding, once you see the wonderful fairy art that is on the internet, you could very well find yourself in love with creating the little creatures. When I was a little girl I was truly mad about Barbie, Royal Doulton Figurines, fairy tales and Coloring. Years later... and I mean quite a few years later, I have rolled all of these interests into fairy coloring and drawing. Well, coloring a fairy is a very important step towards being a fairy artist. There are so many false premises about becoming an artist. So many people believe that if they were not born drawing, that art is something they cannot take part in. I believe coloring is an excellent way to begin the process of becoming a fairy artist. There are also varying degrees of being an artist. There are so many benefits to getting involved in art, beyond just the outcome. In the most basic sense, the act of applying colored media to intricate line drawings is a benefit to relaxation and stress reduction. You are able to put the outside world aside for the moment and focus on the art of coloring singularly.
Coloring pages are also a fantastic way to engage the busy hands and minds of your fidgety kids on vacation trips in the car or by plane. You don't need to scratch your head over the children's entertainment during the rainy days or how to distract them at the doctor's waiting rooms. Sponge Bob can be described in many ways, as a kitchen sponge, due to its dimensions and it shape, as a fry cook, which soon gathers a lot of "friends" like him, but also as a optimistic character, naïve in most of the times. We can all seize its humour from the situations that he is been put in, from the style of language it uses, that is easy to be understood only by adults, all of these happening in the underwater. Coloring Pages are a pleasant way for you to sneak some time in with your kids, away from the noise and clamour of the usual kids hobbies these days like music and video games. Get sat down with a bunch of crayons and challenge your kid to do a really good job. Maybe offer a reward like a chocolate treat for a really good effort. Then be sure to compliment your child and encourage their efforts. Little moments like this can really all add up to a child's sense of self worth and confidence in later life. By spending quality time with them you are subtlety showing them that they are worth spending time with. Children who lack intellectual maturity and emotional satisfaction can be appreciated through the assignment of task involving coloring their favorite characters. In the beginning they may start up with whacky coloring but eventually their skills tend to enhance. They gain emotional satisfaction and also build up essential motor skills like concentration of eyes and hand, hand dexterity etc. it is a kind of wholesome enjoyable task. Most kids love Disney characters very much and when they get their hands onto coloring they forget everything else. They become like angels and always try to express their best by coloring.
If you have a little girl in your family then she is probably similar to my niece in that she wants to be a Princess when she grows up. I suspect it's down to all the Disney films she has watched religiously since she was very young. I haven't the heart to tell her that unless she marries a Prince soon she hasn't much chance. And no, I certainly don't know any royalty! Doing a search for winter coloring pages will bring up more than enough sites that your children can then choose their favorite pictures that they will want to print out and color. It will be more fun for them and they will take a greater interest in coloring if they can choose the pictures they will be coloring. There are hundreds of pictures available so there will be something that will appeal to almost every child's taste. You will be pleasantly surprised at all the activities that are available to keep a family busy and engaged in different activities during the long winter months. Most of these sites have put a lot of thought and effort into providing activities for children of all ages and adults as well. You can find recipes of different things to make such as pop corn balls, taffy, glass candy and even edible play dough. Many of these Internet sites offer puzzles and games that will keep kids occupied for hours. And not everything is fun and games. If you want to help keep the little ones minds sharp and learning many sites offer an educational section where your children can learn about things as diverse as how to count money or how the body works to famous people of the world. A lot of the activities kids do these days are very expensive or very hard for me to join in with. For example, I certainly can't skateboard, I can't swim and I definitely do not know how to use a PC or Xbox to play games. I am lost when it comes to computers, I really am. I know it is inevitable that as my son grows that he will soon enough be wanting to do things on his own and being seen with his dad would be grounds for teasing from his friends so I am making a huge effort to spend as much free time as I can with him now and really make every moment count. They say time is the most precious gift you can give to a youngster and I am trying hard to live by that. It seems increasingly hard to find activities that Fathers can do with their little ones. Mums seem to get most of the fun. Sometimes he really just loses himself in the work and goes quiet, determined to do good and his hand eye concentration has really come on in leaps and bounds. He seems to have quickly learned that by going slower his accuracy improves and things are easier overall, a great little lesson for life there! He is too young yet to start trying to sign his name on his work so I ask him to draw me his face as a signature and he always does so with a big smile on it, which tells me he had a good time working on it!
